Inspired by skateboarding on a summer’s day in an anonymous Russian city, Gosha Rubchinskiy for Comme des Garcons smells excitingly of lost youth: hot tar mingling with the scent of rubber wheels and the mineral spark of board against concrete. The blackcurrant tang of buchu tea lends a samovar-like flavor to proceedings, briefly flushing the monochromatic palette with rosy tannins.
