When we released the original Au Delà, we praised it as a "big, ravishingly spicy floral with a knockout drydown," the kind of throwback chypre that proved not only that Bruno Fazzolari had the chops to take on a titan of the classical French perfume style, but to make it his own with a uniquely lively, American aplomb. With Au Delà Narcisse, Fazzolari takes his old-school chypre- made with genuine oakmoss and labdanum- and adds a stunning dose of rare, exquisite narcissus that is clear, fresh, and unmistakable. Atop a classic base, richly spicy and resinous with just the right amount of animalistic purr, Au Delà Narcisse feels vintage and classic in all the right ways- but fresh, modern and exciting in many others.
